| | Seifukunitsuu Mira | Fri Dec 11, 2009 10:17 pm by Mira | PERSONAL INFORMATION
Name: Seifukunitsuu Mira
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Appearance:

Personality:
Mira is a young girl who often feels out of place in society. As a result, she is a shy, quiet, gentle, lonely girl in appearance. She’s the type of person everyone knows a little about, but don’t seem to care about, in other words, a ghost. Thus she is often ignored and forgotten about, but even so, she doesn’t mind helping others and her advice is sought after due to her high level of intelligence, but again, people tend to forget about her.
However, deep inside, she is actually quite the opposite, but she’s learned to control herself so that her true emotions don’t take over. Easily annoyed and angered, if she were to loose control of her emotions she could easily and unexpectedly lash out at someone enough to kill them or severely injure them.
Either way, whether she is controlling her real emotions or putting half felt emotions, she is open to everyone and not as judging of others. Her favorite pastimes would be reading about fantasy, writing stories based around fantasy, daydreaming, or listening to various pieces of music of most any genre.

Special Equipment
Name: Sode no Shirayuki - Sleeve of White Snow
Rank: A - S
Type: Weapon
Appearance:

Attributes:
Sode no Shirayuki is regarded as one of the most beautiful blades in Kirigakure. It is completely white, including the hilt, crossguard, and blade. The tsuba turns into a circle and a white ribbon forms from the pommel. Sode no Shirayuki has control over ice. Tapping into Sode no Shirayuki's inner power is activated with the phrase mai - dance. Sode no Shirayuki has three specific abilities that Mira knows of, Some no Mai, Tsukishiro - First Dance, White Moon; Tsugi no Mai, Hakuren - Next Dance, White Ripple; and San no Mai, Shirafune - Third Dance, White Sword. In addition to these techniques, Sode no Shirayuki is much like ice, being that it causes mild freezing or tingling sensation when cutting into an opponent and feels ice cold to the touch, save for Mira. Shichiyou, being sealed within Sode no Shirayuki is able to converse with Mira to a small degree. She may also "control" Mira's movements, allowing her to wield Sode no Shirayuki better than she is capable of. Sode no Shirayuki seems to only respond to Mira's touch as others who have attempted to wield it have had their hand badly frostbitten or find that they can not control the movement of the blade at all. Whether this is due to something within Mira that reacts to Sode no Shirayuki, or simply because of the bond between Mira and the spirit within the blade is unknown.
| Spoiler: | | | Note: Only a total of four techniques can be used in any one battle. (I.e. Up to two Tsukishiros and one Hakuren and one Shirafune.)

The technique itself draws no chakra from Mira, but from Shichiyou. As such, the technique can only be utilized twice a day. Shichiyou may manifest herself from the blade in order to use the three unique techniques she has at a more powerful and destructive level, but doing so will cancel out Sode no Shirayuki's properties and special abilities for the rest of the day.

History:
It was said that once long ago before the creation of mankind there once lived a great and powerful race who had power mankind could never dream of obtaining... the gods. Amongst these gods was Tsukuyomi, God of the Moon. During the time when mankind had first been created and the gods gave some members of mankind powers similar to their own, Tsukuyomi placed powers tying in with the moon on a young girl. This girl's name was Kiyoraka Shichiyou...
In time she grew up to be a beautiful young woman, but within her was a gift from the gods. Some deemed this gift evil, others good. As time went on, it became apparant that she was not entirely human. People began to fear her, as all did with those blessed by the gods. Though beautiful, intelligent, powerful, and captivating, many feared her. This fear increased as she continued to live long after she should have, outliving her brothers and sisters.
As she lived on through each new generation, the people's fear of her grew, as did their fear with all others who had these gifts from the gods. Then a young man appeared and calmed this fear. He was the Rikudou Sennin, the Six Realms Sage. He had been blessed with a special gift. Rikudou Sennin was able to pass on the gods' gifts to all who wished to have these gifts. For a time the people were apeased and no longer feared these demigods. Some even went so far as to believe they were stronger than the demigods and gods... it proved to be fatal.
Angered, demigods and gods alike struck out at those who had been taught by Rikudou Sennin. The people would then realize that these gifts were nothing in comparison to the demigods and gods. United by this small fact, the people revolted and worked together to rid the world of the gods and demigods, or at least seal them away. The power of the gods retaliated and for a time the world was at risk of pershing forever.
Rikudou Sennin, wishing for peace had used much of his own power to quell the people and make peace with the gods. The gods left this world, leaving their children, the demigods, to fend for themselves. Rikudou Sennin could not appease the people from attacking these demigods, and in result, many were killed or sealed away.
Shichiyou was peaceful in nature and proved to be a rather easy demigod to do away with. She could have easily been killed, but the people instead chose to seal her within her own blade: Sode no Shirayuki. A beautiful maiden sealed within a beautiful sword, a fitting punishment many believed. While sealed within her own sword, Shichiyou began to develop feelings of hatred and bitterness towards the people who had first sealed her within Sode no Shirayuki, but even so, she still retained her wish for peace.
As the people began to develop these gifts they had recieved from Rikudou Sennin, they began to fight amongst themselves. And so the ninja wars began. Sode no Shirayuki had been carried by ninja who would one day start Kirigakure no Sato in Mizu no Kuni. Above all things, they treasured Sode no Shirayuki the most, for it was a direct blessing from the ancient gods and still had the power of the gods. But as the world gained stability, the stories about Sode no Shirayuki began to fade. The people of Mizu no Kuni began to forget of the legendary and powerful bade that they protected and had possesion of.
But not all hope was lost... very slowly Sode no Shirayuki resurfaced in Kirigakure's interest. With the creation of the Kiri no Shinobigatana Nananin Shū, the Seven Swordsmen of Mist, Sode no Shirayuki gained importance once more. But as most of Kiri no Shinobigatana Nananin Shū was made up of men, and few women ever made up Kiri no Shinobigatana Nananin Shū, Sode no Shirayuki began to fade again for she would let no man handle her.
And so it seemed Sode no Shirayuki would be forgotten and lost forever, but one young man heard of the stories of old. He was Kuroichigo Kajikiza, leader of the Kiri no Shinobigatana Nananin Shū. Interested in what Sode no Shirayuki could do, he took possession of the legendary blade and looked for a suitable partner for the enchanting blade. He settled on a young girl from the Seifukunitsuu Clan. He believed her to be a suitable partner for Sode no Shirayuki.. this child who seemed to match what he thought the ancient bearer of this blade was like, not only in appearance, but in personality as well. Upon her graduation as a Chuunin, he presented the blade to Seifukunitsuu Mira and began to teach her the way of the sword.
Shichiyou took interest in this child, for it was the first time a woman had held her in a long time. She believed this child would one day make a name for herself and understood her feelings of misplacement for she herself had often been like this while growing up. Always wondering where her path lay. Why others seemed to both like and hate her so much. Slowly, very slowly she began to make her presence known to Mira. Together the two learned to make use of one another's skills and the two formed a close bond.
Name: Cross -No real name-
Rank: C +
Type: Item
Appearance:
A soft blue color schemed cross with dark blue veins throughout it in circling patterns and light blue vertical lines. Pale blue caps and ring, a soft silver-white chain threaded through it. Upon the cross rises five ornate items: four blue gems and a small clock. Of the four gems, two are stars, one is a moon, and the last is a intricate arrow pointing towards the moon at the top. Below the arrow is a small analog clock face, its rims the same dark blue as its veins and the face itself the same blue as the gems.
Attributes:
Asides from being able to tell time from it, Mira can store chakra in the four gems. The chakra in these gems act like a reserve for Mira should she happen to run out of chakra in battle. The arrow only holds enough chakra for Mira utilize her support jutsus (Five Senses, Wind Floating, Hand of Wind, & Armor of Wind.) for twenty/forty more posts. The stars hold enough chakra for Mira to utilize up to twenty E, fifteen D, ten C, or five B rank jutsus. The moon holds enough chakra for twenty-five E, twenty D, fifteen C, ten B, or five A rank jutsus.
History:
A small gift given to Mira from her teammates soon after they get home from the Chuunin Exams. Due to the events taking place in the Chuunin Exams, her teammates had been worried for her welfare and gave her the cross as something to help them feel better about leaving Mira alone on future missions or when she was battling on her own.
Clan
Family Name: Seifukunitsuu
Clan Symbol:
Kekkei Genkei: Shagan
| Spoiler: | | | Mira’s Shagan
Mira utilizes the Shafuume (Copy Wind Eye), for full information about the Shafuume, please see below. As she is around that of an A rank level in skills, she can sense the chakra natures of other ninja and all of her Fuuton Jutsu (Wind Techniques) are downgraded by one letter grade in chakra consumption, but remain the same in power. For more information about the Shagan, please see below. For full information about the bloodline, please click on the bloodline above.
Name of the Kekkei Genkai: Shagan - Copy Eye
Type of Kekkei Genkai: Doujutsu, Supplementary
Rank: D - S ?
Description:
A unique kekkei genkai that allows one to copy the various techniques of others depending on the type of eye that they have activated. The eye manifests itself in the clan member’s eyes from ages thirteen to nineteen, primarily from ages thirteen to fifteen. No clan member has ever achieved the doujutsu before or after these ages. It is extremely rare for a member to never achieve the doujutsu. It is possible to transplant the eyes from one member to another, or to another ninja altogether, but it is unlikely to succeed for 99.9% of the time.
Asides from initially gaining a doujutsu, the majority of the clan are albino and all suffer from blindness, even after activation of the doujutsu; however, the doujutsu does allow them to see with perfect vision for the duration it is activated, as little chakra is used to supply the eyes themselves. Due to being blind while growing up, most members have heightened senses of touch, smell, hearing, and taste, depending on how blind they are. Another common trait among members are that they all bleed easily (hemophiliacs). As such, most members do not engage in much physical combat and their bodies are physically weaker than most ninjas, but their abilities with chakra are the exact opposite.
Shafuume - Copy Wind Eye
Those who wield Shafuume can only utilize the wind element. The generic ability that accompanies it is the ability to utilize wind with less chakra than normally required and the ability to copy other wind techniques. As such, members tend to be masters of wind. They are also a little more aloof, thoughtful, defiant, free willed, and imaginative than others. Their mastery over wind is so great that it can seem as if they manipulate wind by will alone.
Depending on their experience with the doujutsu and own skill level, members can do various things.
- At a D ranked level of skill, members can unlock the doujutsu itself, and may be able to utilize their elemental chakra to a small degree, and copy replicate techniques of or below the same level they are.
- At a C ranked level of skill, members may gain the ability to manipulate and or terminate the techniques of their opponents so long as it is at least one rank lower and of their specialty.
- At a B ranked level of skill members may also be able to sense chakra levels or chakra types.
- At an A ranked level, power wise, their techniques may rise by one letter grade, but remain the same in chakra consumption. Or vice versa, depending on the person.
- At an S ranked level, chakra wise, their techniques decrease by one letter grade, but remain the same in power. Or vice versa, depending on the person, that or the ability to sense the chakra levels or chakra type of others. A ranked techniques and lower can also be terminated or manipulated by them by applying at least half of the chakra required for the original jutsu due to their high mastery of that element or skill. (This doesn’t apply to all jutsus, just those falling underneath their category. i.e. a Shakame user could not terminate or manipulate a yin-yang ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, kenjutsu, fuuinjutsu, water jutsu, etc. Only other fire techniques.) They also gain the so called “complete mastery” of their specialty. (Their mastery is so strong that it appears as the last line given in each description, but in actuality it is merely due to their experience in battle and ability to execute moves that flow together perfectly to give the illusion that they are god like in their abilities. And if the battle persists for a long period of time it is quickly seen that it is not quite true.)
Weakness:
All members suffer from one form of albinism or another, the most common being no pigment in either skin or hair and eyes. As such, they are extremely vulnerable to sunlight and can easily be sunburned. In addition, due to their blindness, they are robbed of sight until they activate their doujutsu. And as mentioned, no matter how skilled they are, members may only ever utilize one element during their lifetime. As each clan member is born with a certain specialty, most train in usage of their specialty. As such, even though they may seem all powerful and god like within their specialty, outside of their specialty they are quite defenseless and near useless, thus many can only obtain the rank of a Special Jounin within ninja rankings as clan members rely much upon their eye and born specialty, thus their other ninja skills are normally lower than average. Again, due to each member being destined for a certain specialty, small factions sprout out from the clan itself, result in the nine side branches. Though they are considered a clan as a whole, the clan itself views itself as nine different clans, each based around a certain eye. The clan thus mirrors that of Kirigakure, having much internal strife as each branch considers themselves better than the other. This bitterness between clan members have even reached the point that children who do no possess the same eye as their mother or father may be disowned or “traded” with another couple’s child who has the same eye. This is quite common within the clan and breeds mistrust and hatred amongst individuals and between individuals and their close families.
| History:
Believed to be one of the first group of people to have settled in Mizu no Kuni. There was little known about the Seifukunitsuu for a time because they had not fought the many clans of ninja before the creation of the villages. They did not gain some fame until the Great Ninja Wars began. As the wars began, the clan was sought out to help aid various sides of the war as a sort of mercenary group; however, they did not gain much fame. They were deemed as poor rip offs of the Uchiha Clan’s Sharnigan and Hyuuga Clan‘s Byakugan. Though this essentially angered the clan and created a hatred for Uchiha, Hyuuga, and Konohagakure Shinobi, the clan put up with it. As Kirigakure began to hunt down the kekkei genkais of their land, the Seifukunitsuu quickly suppressed their bloodlines. They were soon passed over as descendents of a group of ninja who had lost their bloodline and ninja skills due to having used it very little. Clan members now hid their bloodline, learning to do this as soon as they achieved it. This went on for some time until Kirigakure began to loosen its grip on the bloodline clans. Even so, the clan is careful to make it seem as if they do not have a bloodline, some are quite dramatic and complex ways, other more simple and easy: a simple Henge on the eyes.
JUTSU LOG
Please note that for all Fuuton Jutsus [Wind Techniques] chakra consumption is one rank lower due to her bloodline. (Also note that I have included other various specific Fuuton Jutsus asides from her three “Wind Manipulation Techniques” as those will be used more often, but can still be used with the Wind Manipulation Techniques. Her mastery of wind is generally at a high A rank level or low S rank level.)
| Spoiler: | | | Name of Jutsu: Soukaze no Jutsu - Wind Manipulation Technique
Rank: D+ [Note: Power starts at E+]
Range: Depends on usage
Type: Depends on usage
Elemental Affinity: Fuuton - Wind
User(s): Seifukuitsuu -Original-
Description:
Due to members of the Seifukunitsuu having had their chakra type identified at birth, one is taught how to manipulate not only chakra, but also their elemental chakra at a young age. As such, they can manipulate wind quite easily and effectively with this technique seeing as it is one of the first techniques they are taught. Though it varies slightly from user to user, the general basics of the technique are the same: minimal chakra consumption, low base power. (I.e. chakra needed is D, but power is E; C and D; B and C; A and B; S and A) With this techniques, members are capable of manipulating the wind to form kunai, shuriken, swords, spears, scythes, any weapon really. Though how effective it will be depends on their control over the jutsu and their ability to work with that particular weapon. The technique may also be used to create walls, domes, shields, armor, and any sort of defence they wish. Again, its effectiveness depends on control and what kind of attacks are being launched at it. With this technique, weapons that are not enhanced and most physical attacks are either stopped, deflected, diverted, or reflected back at the opponent. But this also varies in accordance with how the defense has been created. Additonally, one can use it in other means such as creating cutting winds; small, mild tornadoes; strikes of wind; and so forth. One can also utilize the technique with a weapon(s), enhancing its piercing ability and reach, or for mundane reasons such as creating a cool breeze, cooling down a drink, showing off. Other uses of this technique also involve utilizing it with another technique (such as a Kage Bunshin to make it into a Fuuton - Kage Bunshin).
Weakness:
As stated, low base power. D ranked chakra equals E ranked power; C ranked chakra equals D ranked power; B ranked chakra equals C ranked power, etc. Additionally, fire is also another general weakness. Due to the low base power of the technique, a fire based technique with a power ranking of or at a higher level than the technique's power can easily cancel out the technique or make the technique backfire on the user. And depending on how it is used, there are various other weaknesses.

(In the case of an S rank usage of this technique, consider the power to be equal that of an S and A rank wind jutsu used in conjunction with one another.)
Weakness:

Users: Uchiha Sasuke, Hatake Kakashi -Cannon with a twist-

The Uchiha clan also utilizes the wire in their Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi technique. The wire allows the clan member to pin down an opponent, and then unleash a torrent of fire upon them. Mira can also channel her wind chakra into the wires, either while attempting to restrict the opponent or after restricting them. This can result in very effective, yet simple, way to kill opponent due to the wind's potent slicing and piercing nature.
Name: Kazerou no Jutsu - Wind Prison Technique
Rank: C
Range: Close
Type: Ninjutsu, Defense
Elemental Affinity: Fuuton - Wind
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira
Description:
A variant of Suirou no Jutsu, Kazerou acts in much the same way. With their hand or arm attached to the windy sphere, it stays in place and renders the opponent inside incapable of moving without causing harm to themselves from the wind. Should one try to get out from within, the wind will merely slash them apart. Mira can control whether or not the winds will cut them once inside of the prison. Destroying contact with the wind results in the prisoner's freedom.
Name: Fuuton Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Wind Element Shadow Clone
Rank: B
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Elemental Affinity: Fuuton - Wind
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira -Original-
Description:
Fuuton Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes wind to create a Kage Bunshin clone. Because it is a Kage Bunshin, the Fuuton version shares the ability to interact with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. If the Fuuton Kage Bunshin is injured, the clone will revert into its natural wind state. Like in other Wind Element attacks, should the target come into contact with the wind, they will be sliced by the wind. Mira's clones also recompose themself in the next two posts until they completely run out of chakra. Asides from this, the clone is much like any regular Kage Bunshin.

Name: Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Summoning Technique
Rank: C
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Offense/Defense/Supplementary
Elemental Affinity: None
Users: Higher Level General Skill -Cannon-
Description:
A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows him to summon different size and skill levels of creature. Mira can summon doves and often summons various items from either her home or various "safe houses" she has around the ninja world, thus keeping the number of items on her to a minimum.
Name: Chakra no Nawa - Chakra Rope
Rank: C
Range: Close - Far
Type: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Elemental Affinity: None
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira -Original-
Description:
This technique allows the ninja to extend their chakra out of their body into binding ropes or threads. Name: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Shadow Clone
Rank: B
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Elemental Affinity: None
Users: Uzumaki Naruto, Hatake Kakashi -Cannon-
Description:
Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.
Name: Meisai Gakure no Jutsu - Camouflage Concealment Technique
Rank: A
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Elemental Affinity: None
Users: Iwagakure Ninja -Cannon-
Description:
Meisai Gakure no Jutsu is an advanced Ninjutsu technique used by Rock ninja. After forming the needed handseals, the ninja can grant themself near invisibility. So far only the Sharingan eye and its revelation abilities has been shown to pierce the veil and see the hidden ninja. It is unknown if the Byakugan can penetrate the jutsu and see the user's chakra circulatory system.
Name: Bunshin Bakuha - Shadow Clone Explosion
Rank: A
Range: Close
Type: Ninjutsu, Offense
Elemental Affinity: None
Users: Uchiha Itachi -Cannon-
Description:
Bunshin Bakuha is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Uchiha Itachi. At first glance the clone appears to be a normal Kage Bunshin, but Itachi can detonate the clone at any time to form a very large explosion depending on how much chakra has been given to the clone.
Name: Kyakko - Curving Light
Rank: A
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Defense
Elemental Affinity: None
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira -Original-
Description:
An advanced form of Mesai Gakure no Jutsu, Kyakko allows one to completely hide their presence and compress their chakra to a low level. As such, it is the perfect stealth jutsu. One must have a high chakr control ability in order to compress their chakra to a low level. Abilities that sense chakra can still sense that Mira is there, but due to Mira compressing her chakra to such a low level, ninja discard her as nothing more than a mere animal or low level Genin.
Name: Phantom Mirage
Rank: Unknown
Range: Close - Mid
Type: Kenjutsu/Ninjutsu, Offense
Elemental Affinity: None/Fuuton - Wind
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira
Description:
Applying short bursts of chakra to her feet, Mira can rapidly increase her speed to the point that she leaves behind afterimages for a brief perioid of time. This confuses the opponent and allows for an easier time to land blows with Sode no Shirayuki. This version can be used multiple times in battle with a three post cooldown.
When applying wind natured chakra, her speed increases even more and her attacks are thus more powerful; however, the speed also causes Mira to get mild headaches as the area around her seems to blur (if her bloodline is activated) and sounds get distorted, causing her to be slightly unbalanced, lowering er accuracy. This version can be used multiple times as well, but has a ten post cooldown.
-------------------------------------------------
Please note that the majority of these techniques are generally always present due to the low level of chakra needed to utilize them. They generally do not cause any damage to opponents. All techniques here are downgraded in chakra consumption by one letter grade but remain the same in power.
Name: Goukan - Five Senses
Rank: -
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Elemental Affinity: None
Users: Seifukunitsuu Clan -Orignal-
Description:
Members apply chakra to one, or all, of (their somewhat sensitive) five senses, increasing a sense's worth and ability to function. The activation and usage of the technique is generally unnoticable. This technique can be activated at anytime and remain activated for long periods of time. Mira has adapted wind into this technique for the sense of touch. Her wind chakra acts like a sonar, enabling her to sense objects in her path and detecting just how dense it is and whether or not is moving as her sonar is extremely sensitive. This part of Goukan is almost always activated when moving, on a mission, or in a hostile enviroment and one generally doesn't notice this technique being used unless they have the Byakugan or other chakra sensing abilities and can tell she is expelling chakra as the wind is very faint and generally unnoticable to others, both in sight and touch.
Name: Kaze Fuyuu - Wind Floating
Rank: D
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Elemental Affinity: Fuuton - Wind
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira -Original-
Description:
Applying a small amount of wind chakra to her feet, Mira can thus appear to be floating instead of walking. Mira's speed will also increase. It will also increase the height of her jumps and help cushion falls if she lands on her feet. With additional chakra applied, Mira can "fly" for a limited amount of time (five to ten posts). Her kicks will only go a little further and seem to have the same strength of an average kick and the wind applied to her feet is capable of causing minor cuts and punctures, but not enough to kill (unless she was just standing on top of them for days). This technique can be activated by Mira whenever she wishes and can remain activated over long periods of time.
Name: Kaze no Jashuu - Hand of Wind
Rank: D
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Offense
Elemental Affinity: Fuuton - Wind
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira -Orignal-
Description:
A thin layer of wind covers Mira's hands and increases her base physical damage. It also allows for Mira to pick up hot/cold/toxic/dangerous objects without much harm. Due to her low physical build, Kaze no Jashuu only makes her physical attacks seem like a normal punch with a little slashing/piercing damage, but again, not enough to kill, only minor cuts and punctures. Additionally she can do minor things like cool down a hot cup of tea and the like with her wind enhanced hands. This technique can be activated by Mira whenever she wishes and can remain activated over long periods of time.
Name: Kaze no Yoroi - Armor of Wind
Rank: D
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Defense
Elemental Affinity: Fuuton - Wind
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira -Original-
Description:
A thin, yet slightly compressed, wave of wind covers Mira and renders most weapons used against Mira futile. Also prevents poison from being inhaled by Mira. Weapons enchanced with another element (other than wind) can break through this thin barrier though. Additionally if enough force is applied, it can break through the barrier as well. Piercing based attacks generally have a higher chance of success than slashing or crushing based attacks. This jutsu is generally activated at the beginning of each battle Mira enters.
Name: Kaze no Tate - Shield of Wind
Rank: C
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Defense
Elemental Affinity: Fuuton - Wind
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira -Original-
Description:
A variant of Kaze no Yoroi, Kaze no Tate is thicker and more compressed. As such, even if Kaze no Tate is broken through, the attack must also break through Kaze no Yoroi before actually dealing damage on Mira. This armor surrounding Mira is capable of deflecting C rank Ninjutsu attacks and below, as well as normal weapons and low enhanced weapons. Again, piercing based attacks have a higher success rate than crushing or slashing based attacks. This technique is generally activated by Mira at some point in the battle if she feels that she is outmatched and unlikely to win.
Name: Kaze no Heki - Wall of Wind
Rank: B
Range: -
Type: Ninjutsu, Defense
Elemental Affinity: Fuuton - Wind
Users: Seifukunitsuu Mira -Original-
Description:
A variant of Kaze no Tate, Kaze no Heki is much stronger, capable of deflecting B rank Ninjutsu and below, as well as normal weapons and moderately enhanced weapons. Piercing based damage have a high success rate of destroying the wall. The technique can only be used so many times due to the immense amount of concentration required and can only be used two to four times in a day. This technique is generally activated by Mira to ward off a death blow by combining two or more walls of wind. |
PROFILING
History: See the following posts for a more detailed history that's still a work in progress. Here's a brief, summarized one since I actually want to start RPing soon...
Born into the Seifukunitsuu Clan, great things were expected of Mira and for the most part she lived up to those expectations, becoming a Genin at age five. Placed onto a team with two other talented shinobi and a Jounin sensei who also happened to be the leader of the Seven Mists Swordsmen at the time. Though their sensei put them through much training they managed to get his approval and became official Genin.
They would train for a year and a half before they were entered into the Chuunin Exams; however, things would prove to be daunting for Mira. One because she was just about the youngest and smallest Genin there. Two, all the other teams had been Genin for over two years. And three, it was being held in Sunagakure... With her extremely sensitive skin she couldn't last long in the blazing light of the sun. The part of the exams passed without much of a problem since it was held indoors. The second part however did cause problems. Mira undoubtedly became the deadweight, but tried her best to help the team, mostly by using her wind to locate other teams before they met. But for the most part she was rather useless. Even so, their team managed to survive and pass. Suna's harsh desert had done its job though. Few of the teams had managed to pass the second round and thus there was no need for the preliminaries and Mira was seen as weakling to all the other teams.
In the one month time frame, her senseei taught her Kenjutsu and helped to strengthen her body and helping her with the intense gaze of the sun so that in the finals she may fight out in the open without weighing herself down with articles of clothing to cover her sensitive skin. And as he did so, he gave Mira clues as to what or who he really was. As the tournament drew ever closer, Mira became stronger. Her match was the last one in the first round. And when it came, she shocked many of them. Easily taking out the young man with a combination of wind jutsu and her katana. No longer was she seen as a mere weak child who had no place amongst the ninja ranks. As the tournament progressed, Mira came up against Ryota. A battle more out of fate than mere chance. Whilst training together for a year, the two had developed a friendly rivalry, only neither had ever had the chance to fully go all out on the other in a spar. Though Mira lost against Ryota, both had managed to show that they were Chuunin material, both in strength and in mind. Ichiro had passed as well, but more so because of his ability to fight.
Upon their return trip home, Ichiro and Ryota both spent some of their hard earned money from missions and winnings from the Chuunin Exams to give Mira a small gift. It was a necklace that would store chakra for her. They knew that no matter the amount of training Mira participated in, her physical body would never be on par with an average shinobi, and that the only chance she had was with Ninjutsu or chakra... Though meant as a gift for becoming Chuunin, it was more to calm their worries of Mira dying someday in the future. Her sensei surprised her as well, giving her a very old blade. Sode no Shirayuki. She had only been taught the basics of swordplay and didn't know very much about it and at the time she had not enjoyed it very much either, so for her sensei to give her such a weapon was a complete surprise. Not only did he give her the blade, but he offered to teach her more about swordplay. To make her master of the sword if she so wished.
Time would pass and Mira and her teammates would each become Jounin. For Mira it was perhaps one of the hardest things she had ever done. She excelled easily in anything that required chakra or one's thoughts... but when it came to a physical fight? She had had trouble there and nearly made it as Special Jounin instead, but her training with Sode no Shirayuki had come in handy. Soon after becoming a Jounin, Mira would join Kiri's Black Ops, proving to be a valuable asset to the organization. But as she worked as a Black Op she uncovered dark secrets about her clan... and her sensei.
Not knowing who to turn to, she went to her sensei, wanting to know if he would either confirm or reject the dark truth she had found. He confirmed it. But he also let her know more. Let her know the full story rather than what Kiri's spies had found. Shortly after this, Mira went to one of the "elders" in the clan and asked him of their clan's past. He only confirmed the dark secrets she had found. To think that her sensei was a monster and had lived for over three centuries. To think that her clan had had such a bloody past of killing their own kind and conducting experiments to gain power.
And for the first time in her life, she wondered just how dark Kirigakure was. She had always known that her village was full of secrets. But... how much did they keep hidden from the civilians? From the very ninja that protected it? How much? For her own sake, she quit the Black Ops and became an ordinary Jounin again, spending more time with Ryota. They had started dating about a year or two ago, hadn't they? But Ryota was cheating and lying. When Ichiro finally told Mira about Ryota, she couldn't help but distrust the village, her clan, her friends, everyone... even more than before.
Mistrust and betrayal fueled the small spark of hatred within her and made Mira leave. Its been about half a year since she left. And in all that time she has not been proclaimed as a harmful threat at all. How could you call her dangerous when she had done nothing to harm the villages? When all she did was go about from land to land, seemingly doing nothing. And now and then she helped out the civilians with local thugs or gangs. She may be a Kirigakure Ninja on paper, but in her heart she wasn't.

| Spoiler: | | | The moon’s rays penetrated through the debris. The light bounced off of one item to another. The rays landed on a piece of glass, the moon rays being distorted and spread out through the small cylindrical chamber. More glass and the light breaks up even more. Over and over the light breaks up, becoming brighter and brighter the deeper it went. Far, far, far below stood one young woman. She stared up at the lights for a single moment before it got too bright.
Had things still been normal, the same, the moon’s rays would have turned her face silver and glistening, but it wasn’t normal. Things had changed... changed for the worse. Her eyes were filled with grief and at the same time, anger. Anger at herself for losing them. For making them into the monsters they were now. She had lost them and there was nothing she could do about it. Nothing. Once they became a monster, they were a monster forever.
A hand reached out and touched her on the shoulder. She turned quickly, thinking that it was an enemy, but it wasn’t. It was one of her comrades, one of the few survivors. His face was filled with grief as well, but in them were acceptance, not anger. He gave her one long glance and then let go of her. They both looked up for a few minutes even though they couldn’t see anything. The cold didn’t bother them. The only sound came from the steady river rushing by behind them.
Tenten let out a small sigh. There truly was nothing left to live for... nothing. But they all lived, and for what purpose? To die in the caverns as humans? She shook her head, she really did need to stop thinking like this... it only brought one down even more. She marveled at how Naruto could keep on being so... so... happy right now. Then again, he had always been like that, and stubborn too, perhaps that was why he had so much more hope than they all did.
The sound of unfamiliar feet reached Tenten’s ears. An intruder. She whirled around, kunai and shuriken drawn, already launching themselves towards the intruder. From her back she drew the dual katanas she had and took on an offensive stance, but only a weasel came out. A weasel with two shuriken in his back. The weasel eyed her with distaste and hissed at her. It was perhaps two feet long, a gray-black coat, and one dark, black eye that followed her every movement. The other eye, the left one, was closed, a thick scar running across it vertically, he had lost that eye.
More footsteps. Four people, guessed Tenten. She should have raised the alarm when she had the chance, but it was too late. They would be upon her soon. Her only hope was to make as much noise as possible and take as many of them out as she could... then perhaps the others could kill them off before it was too late and they were all lost. She gripped the hilts tighter. A bead of sweat rolled her face and dripped onto the dry, rocky floor. Shadows danced upon the main tunnel wall leading to the gathering room. They were here.
Tenten’s eyes narrowed and she sprang forward to meet the intruders...
Dual katanas hit metal. The sound of metal on metal was sharp in the air. The katanas were useless now, her opponent’s strength outmatched hers. Instead, Tenten slid down and kicked out, dealing a nice sidekick to the intruder. There was a soft grunt, slightly feminine. She sensed movement behind her and quickly released the katanas, careful to throw them just a little out of reach of the enemy, and jumped high into the air.
In the air, she took out one of the many small scrolls she now carried with her and called forth scores of weapons. The weapons were easily deflected by a gust of wind. Tenten scowled. A vampire that had gained use of a ninja’s talents. They always made a dangerous enemy... As she landed she grabbed one of the katanas and swung it in a graceful arc. The blade made contact, slashing through fabric, but not skin.
But that wasn’t enough. The enemy, whoever they were, had dodged. These guys were getting tough. She considered the alarm... she could reach it with a kunai easily. |
| Spoiler: | | | It was an early April morning. The sakuras were starting to bloom, it was a very peaceful day alright, but in the real world, there was a war going on. Every day lives were lost, none were worthless, but many were young and innocent. Everyone knew of the war, it had been going on for almost four years now. Not much time, but in a ninja war, a lot could happen. Though life was beginning once more, with new plants blooming into view, and creatures being born, there were more and more deaths. As the war raged on, one became more alert, serious, ... deadly. Those that survived battle after battle became battled hardened. Those that failed... were mourned after.
Still life continued. People continued with their daily chores. Children still played about. But always there was a sense of danger. Man, woman, and child were always on guard, always fearful.
In the village of Konoha, life continued as always. Neighbor helped neighbor. Children played with children. Students studied hard so that they too could be out there on the field and helping their fellow comrades. Genin trained hard each day, wanting to become stronger and prove that they too could be of help in this war. While others went about on missions and into battles, always putting their lives on the line.
And as such, there were new Genin to train. A young black haired girl with green eyes strode through the market. At her side hung a shimmering blue blade, unsheathed. One hand laid on the hilt lazy matter. The other was deep within a pocket. Her clothing was simple enough. A loose black vest over a collared white shirt. A pair of black shorts that reached her knees. A pair of black gloves on either arm that almost reached her shoulder. On the either hand was a forehead protector, the right of Konoha and the left of Suna. Though her face was emotionless, her eyes were filled with kindness. Many up and about in the market place cast glances at her and gave slight smiles.
She was Nara, Aki. The only daughter of Shikamaru and Temari Nara. She was the village’s pride and joy. Everyone knew her, and yet none really knew the real her. She was and still is the top of her class. Having achieved many goals and dreams of others in her short life. She was the younger twin sister to Gasuma Nara. It was a shame how she had surpassed her brother in almost every field. Many only knew of Gasuma as her older brother, and nothing more.
Aki gave a slight yawn. A Jonin sensei eh? I guess it wouldn’t be too bad. I’m probably still younger than all of them too. She took out a small book from the depths of her pocket. It was labeled The Five Elements and Their Combinations. Opening the book, she began reading it as she made her way to Area 42. When she got there, there was no one there. She yawned. Ah, they’re late. The kunochi hid herself in the shadows and silently continued reading, waiting for her Genin team to show up. |
| Spoiler: | | | It was pitch black. Nothing could be seen, only heard. Footsteps, light and quick. Someone was running, most likely a girl. Twigs snapping, leaves rustling, cloth tearing. A forest. She fell once, twice, and then no more. Her steps became lighter and more carefully placed as she became used to the forest.
White. It was blinding. But the darkness slowly came back, only this time the light of the full moon lighting up a clearing. The grass was tall. The girl slowed down and stopped in the middle of the clearing, staring up at the moon. A faint wind tossed her brown hair around her. The grass swirled and swished around her bare legs. A once beautiful black dress hung in rags on her, and yet she was still captivatingly beautiful. She closed her eyes, and stood there, waiting.
Her pale skin seemed even paler in the moonlight. The moonlight slowly shifted so that it covered her body. Red streaks were all over her body—blood. The blood dripped down from her neck and arms. The blood didn’t distract her, instead she plucked up a long and thick piece of grass. She gently drew blood from one of the cuts on her neck, and began writing on the leaf.
As soon as she had finished, large grotesque creatures came running out of the surrounding forest. They hissed at the moonlight, but ignored it, steadily walking towards her. Many had claws and tails, and some had fearsome looking fangs. Their eyes were red with blood. At last they couldn’t stand it anymore, and rushed towards her. They surrounded her, but stayed well out of the way of the moonlight.
The girl slowly moved with the moonlight, knowing that for the moment it was her only defense. The grass blade held tight in her left hand. Her right hand at her neck. Just a little more blood and then it would be complete, but she knew that they wouldn’t let her complete the spell.
A cloud drifted in front of the moon. The moonlight vanished. She desperately drew her hand away from her neck and towards the blade of grass. It was too late though. The creatures had rushed at her. Her hand missed the blade of grass by inches. One of the creatures quickly tore up the grass blade.
They all howled in delight and victory. From out of the shadows stepped a vaguely human like creature. “Stop at once!” yelled the creature. The monsters quickly stopped. “Now where is the stone? Where is it?!” he asked the girl, stepping on top of her wrist.
The girl let out a gasp of pain, but refused to speak. He easily grabbed hold of her. “Tell me where it is now! Tell me now, and I spare your pathetic life. Or would you like them to play with you for awhile?” He held her tighter.
This time should couldn’t help but let out a gasp of pain, blood oozing out of her previous cuts. A small dribble of dark red blood dripped down her chin from her mouth. “I will never tell the likes of you! It would be better if you just kill me,” she said through clenched teeth, and then passed out from the blood loss. |
